  • Adjust Sharing Settings for domain & work profiles

  • Stop NIC from sleeping

  • Install Java / Shockwave / Flash

  • add to appropriate list for FEP on idribackup server

  • LAB MACHINES: turn off OS updates

  • OrgChart link: public desktop

  • IDRI phone list: public desktop

Install:

  • Adobe reader

  • Winzip

  • Cute.pdf (or Acrobat if licensed)

  • Office 2010 (& activate)

  • MS ForeFront

  • Java / Shockwave / Flash

  • Graphpad Prism

  • Ccleaner

  • GoToMeeting

 

if requested:

  • VPN access -  all users if laptop

  • grant VPN access on the server if qualified

  • add to shortcut to Public Desktop
